I can feather it to full speed, but then it will sputter and die. I cleaned the air filter, changed the gas (use stihl oil/mix), shot in some carb cleaner, and tried leaving the cap partially open -- same result. Worst case, is you'll have to add a little Sea Foam or some other additive to the fresh gas to finish the clean job after it starts running.
