Web11 apr 2013 · Short Version: -98' TJ 4.0L. -Cranks but no start. -Fuel pump doesn't prime when key is turned to "run". -No spark. -Already swapped a fuel pump and CPS with no luck. -Also swapped all relays with the horn relay to make sure they were working. Web11 gen 2014 · You may be able to get it started by pushing the accelerator completely to the floor and holding it there while cranking till it starts. let go of the accelerator as soon as it starts so it doesn't rev too high. Pushing and holding the accelerator to floor cut's out all injectors (clear flood). If that doesn't start it, try spraying starting fluid into the throttle body then trying to start it. If it starts you have a fuel problem, likely a bad fuel pump.
