WebOct 10, 2016 · There were a lot of people bank fishing on both sides of the jetties. We fished the south jetty near the beach Saturday afternoon. No luck. Sunday morning we walked out and fished near the end of the south Jetty. there were alot of people fishing. We saw several Slot reds caught on mullet at the end of the jetty on the surf side. WebMany fishermen like to come to South Packery Channel Beach since this place offers opportunities for easy fishing and a big catch of various fish species, including grouper, trout, kingfish, and tarpon. The best fishing area is around the jetty. You may either fish from the jetty or climb down and fish from the rocks.
