It takes way too long, and to be honest, cycling on it removes a large part of its utility as a walking path. I now also avoid it when I walk, because of the amount of cycling happening on it. Cycling and walking is a much worse mix than cars & cycling. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but it is mine.
