We can use that heat to help local households keep warm without having to worry about the size of their energy bill, or whether they’re damaging the planet if they turn the heating up. WebCory Riverside Energy uses the waste that would otherwise have gone to landfills as feedstock to generate electricity. As one of the largest operations of its kind in the UK, its facility in Belvedere generates around 525,000 MWh of electricity each year from processing circa 750,000 tonnes of waste.
